My Thoughts: Xiamen.. Unforgetable..

hey there.. i have not been blogging for the past week... thats bcoz i was in xiamen, China..
so now... im gonna share my experience with you all.. haha..
grab a good seat.. some things to eat.. becoz itz gonna be long.. here goes..

9th december 2008

our plane left at 7pm.. but we reached there by 5 something.. had mc donalds before boarding..
some one called b4 i left.. so happy.. haha... but im not gonna tell u who..
the flight was boring.. my parents sat beside me and that meant that i was not beside my sis or relatives..
so i had no one to speak to and passed the 4 hours on the plane with my ipod or sleep..
when we reached there.. it was alredi late at night..
by the time we checked out.. it was alredi 12...
we reached the hostel in less than 20 minutes.. it looked creepy from the outside.. all dark and scary..
so we took out luggage and went in.. i was gonna sleep with yong yaw.. my sis's fren..
he was suppose to sleep with his younger bother pin yaw.. but his brother was kinda sick after the flight.. so he spent the first night wif his parents..
yeah.. we were seperated from our parents once we reached xiamen.. they have their dfferent places to go while we have our classes to attend do.. see the irony.. our holiday aint a holiday.. haha
i shared a room with yong yaw.. and we were both shocked when we entered our rooms..
we were all expecting a run downed hostel.. but we were treated with a nice room..
the room even had towels and toiletries... very nice..
so the day was juz like dat.. after having a nice hot bath.. we went to sleep..

10th december 2008

we woke up early today.. 7 i think.. we had to get ready for our first lesson..

after gathering.. we went to the eating room.. i guess thats wad they call it..

breakfast was nice.. lots of to choose from.. althoug it was almost the same things that we eat in m'sia.. but there was a variety of choices..

from the first meal.. all the students in tis trip were divided into 2 groups..

one group was us.. relatives but the yap family.. and the others had their own group..

i regretted that i guess... we rarely talked.. hmm... they all very quiet la..

although we had only 9 ppl in one table compared to them who had 10.. we alwiz ate more then them.. i dont know why.. haha

after breakfast.. it was still early.. so we decided to Ss with the cam.. or camwhore if u like it dat way.. lol.. the scene around the campus was nice..

After that.. it was clas time.. at first i tot it was nice..

the teacher was cute.. girl la of course.. and the weather was nice..

the teacher decided to give us a talk about thefood in xiamen and origins too..

everyone took notes except the boys in our group..

we soon began to feel bored..

and bryan was beginnig to catch some sleep at the back.. he left some saliva too.. haha..

i couldn't stand it anymore and when it waws reces time.. i took out a deck of cards..

haha.. im still the same after so many years.. still like to play cards..

we played chor dai di.. and almost got caught by the teacher when receess was over..

After that.. it was lunch time.. again.. 2 tables 2 groups..

many dishes.. fun time... ate our tummies full before continue-ing our class..

After that.. it was paper cutting class.. pin yaw joined us after lunch.. he was kinda quiet at first..

paper cutting class was much more better.. more things to do and we can move around..

we learnt the art of paper cutting..

i learned how to cut dragonflies, frog, dolphin and "Shuang Xi" which meant Double happiness in chinese on paper..

it was nice.. and the teacher was cute too.. haha...

class finished at 4.30 and we had a lot of time before dinner.. so we decided to take a walk around the campus..
ended up playing basketball.. in the cold weather..

seriously.. i was exhausted after only 2 matches.. too cold i guess.. hard to breathe.. after that..

we walked around the campus.. and walked out of it eventually..

It was kinda funny when we were taking pic.. lester was keep saying about how he wants his pictures to be taken

so bryan keep suan him.. bryan is lester's younger brother la..

so at last.. he kena suan back.. lester say bryan view ppl profile only then get scold by that person..

haha.. we couldn't stop laughing...

so we walked outside of the campus.. within the place of course.. not straying too far..

again.. we went in two groups.. our groups and the another group..

there were lots of shops.. and most of them had english signs on them too..

but oh my god.. their english.. zzz.. here is an example..

We went back for dinner after that.. and after dinner..

we headed back to the streets and market..

we were amazed by how cheap things were..

i ended up buying two pairs of adidas sneakers.. same design.. diff pattern..

i bought 2 bcoz i could decide which wan to choose.. that shows u how cheap it was.. haha!

we also tasted lots of food.. and also tried some of the things our teacher recommended us earlier..

this is china's version of cincau.. hot hot one.. i don quiet like.. haha

We played a guessing game called Killer.. this was the main game we played throughout the trip..

and thats why we got the nickname for our group which was the drama group..

bcoz the game consist of acting.. haha

11th decmeber 2008

we woke up early today.. but the other group was kinda late.. haha..

again breakfast was nice.. everyday also nice la.. haha..

today have chinese art class.. the teacher was called teacher tan...

he was a bragger la.. the first 45 minutes was spent on telling us how great he was..

wth.. wadever sentence he start also got "teacher tan was very famous bla bla bla.. "

"teacher tan go italy find famous ppl bla bla bla... ""

zzz.. hear also sien.. after that.. he tot us how to draw..

i cant deny it.. he was good at it.. haha...

i learnt how to draw bamboo.. birds and goldfish.. all using a brush..

but too bad.. it wasn't finish.. we juz visited half the island.. but it was alredi fun enuf..

many things to see there.. very nice.. we got there by bus.. and then.. after reaching there.. we travelled in a buggy.. big one la...

the place even had a water foutain show.. somemore got man made rainbow one.. haha

after dat.. played killer again.. till very late.. den sleep lo..

12th december 2008

woke up and had breakfast as usual.. today we were kinda late.. haha...

after that.. we went for paper cutting class and knot tieing class...

same teacher leh.. cute cute de.. i know how to tie Zhong Guo Jie adi.. very nice de.. who wan tell me.. haha..

after that.. then have lunch lo.. hehe

after that.. it was wushu time.. first of all.. i tot it was gonna be hard and booring..

but how wrong i was.. immediately i liked it..

fun la.. at first the teacher showed us a move.. we were expected to learn it by the end of the day.. we all tot it was impossible.. but at last.. we managed to pull it off.. yeah!!

13th december 2008

we woke up extremely late today.. haha.. i off alarm.. yyy and yby also.. so late lo...

i help them da pao food.. i go down first.. then we rushed to meet up wif others lo..

today got programme wif other students.. the locals here..

we walked to the secondary sku near our place.. my partner was a boy named zhang chen..

nice lad.. a bit chubby.. treat me very well..

he took me around the place.. also to a few famous place.. introduce me to their customs too..

had lunch at his place.. had steamboat or "huo guo"..

his parents were nice to me..

after lunch.. their parents went to sleep.. and ask me to rest..

so i rest lo.. alone in my friends place.. he was playing comp.. and i sleep.. haha.. so bad rite..

we left at 2.00 to go around.. his father drove us around.. so good..

thanks to him la.. he's a university teacher.. jimei uni.. and thanks to him..

i gotta see the view from a 24 storey bcoz he has excess to the building..

which was the tallest in the region.. haha

if u don know.. tan kah kee was some rick man during the early 1900s..

he was a good man.. and he gave his money to charity until he went broke..

more than 20 schools were started up by him..

and many things are named after him.. even a huge sports complex.. zz

very noisy la them.. stil young.. quiet when alone.. noisy when together..

after dat.. they come over to our place to have dinner... but when we were gathering.. lots of things to do.. like beat up anyone who make fun of me in the photo.. haha
